Jai Michelle Louissen is a Scottish poet and fiction writer, singer songwriter and recording artist living on the west coast of The Netherlands. 

 

With an undergraduate education in literature, further training in systemic therapy and meditation,  she writes about trauma identity and loss intersecting ecology and the natural world. When she is not writing you can find her outside in nature, immersed in fiction, art, theatre and film or conjuring a delicious meal. 

 

Published most recently in Poetry Scotland, Acropolis Journal, Dust,, Clarion, Driech, The Heron Tree, Crow and Cross Keys  with two chapbooks 'A Vision of Orchids' in 2022 published by Sunday Mornings At The River and 'The Weight of Vapour' published by Alien Buddha Press.
